What is In-Home Care?

AASC's In-Home Care provides the community's older and/or disabled residents with a choice in long-term care...the choice to receive care at home. In-Home Care offers a wide range of services to meet client's personal care and home management needs. It also offers caregivers the opportunity to take a temporary break from caring for a loved one.

When you're frail or disabled, even simple housekeeping tasks can seem daunting.  Many seniors struggle with daily tasks the rest of us take for granted, such as vacuuming, dusting, washing dishes, doing laundry or cooking a meal.  Our Homemaker program provides qualified seniors with a cleaning and companion service.  Homemakers offer assistance with light housework, laundry, and meal preparation and clean-up.

Our Personal Care program includes dignified assistance with feeding, bathing, dressing and other personal care needs.  Personal care aides can assist with walking and exercise, tooth and mouth care, and skin care.  This program helps seniors and disabled people to complete activities of daily living.

AASC's Caregiver Support program provides relief to older folks caring for grandchildren and aging loved ones.  Providing constant care to dependent loved ones is an overwhelming responsibility and even the most tireless caregiver needs a breather.

AASC performs background checks on all employees working in the home.
