ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - FINANCIAL SERVICES

Assists in the administration of the affairs of the Agency; assists in overall planning, financial

projections, preparation of budget, purchasing, computerization, supervision of general projects,

and represents the agency from time to time as directed. Prepares reports, directives and other

material as required; assists in the administration of personnel for the agency. Significant public

contact is required and position requires independent decision-making and action.

Applicants must possess a combination of education and experience equivalent to at least a

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a major in business, management, public

administration, and planning. Masters degree preferred. Three (3) years of responsible

management experience in social services or a related field or in a capacity requiring frequent

contact with an understanding of the operation of public agencies. Ability to work effectively

with boards and committees, ability to plan, monitor, and evaluate budgets; ability to manage

people, ability to organize, plan and implement activities appropriate to further organizational

goals.
