Fight High Price of Gas by Riding the Bus
According to the AAA, gas prices have reached an average of $3.86 per gallon for self-serve, regular-grade gasoline. Six states now have gasoline
prices above $4 a gallon.
Drivers in Southwest Virginia should consider riding the bus to fight the high price of gas.
Through Four County Transit, public transportation is available to residents in the counties of Buchanan, Dickenson, Russell and Tazewell.
Depending on the route, fares range from 25¢ per boarding to $1.00 per boarding.
