Local College Students Remembers Seniors On Valentine's Day

Brianna Matney, a sophomore at Virginia Intermont College in Bristol, VA made a total of 375 cards for the local Community Café’s and Meals on Wheels Participants. Brianna chose this project because she wanted to make an impact close to home. While there are hundreds of projects all around our nation that would have loved to receive the beautiful cards, Brianna found it important to remember those in her own backyard and bring a smile to their faces.

Brianna is using the project to be considered for a scholarship through the website DoSomething.org. AASC and the local seniors wish her good luck and thank her for her generosity.
